Plug into the KMA Audio Machines Moai Maea Analog Octaver and stack an octave plus two sub-octaves onto your sound to create everything from a thick and fuzzy wall of sound to a synth-style grind. Dial in your sub-octave levels via the pots supplied before hitting the Drone switch to activate them at will. The higher octave, meanwhile, is triggered via the Shriek switch and, as well as a full octave up, adds the extra dirt of a touch of fuzz. Trigger your octave and sub-octaves independently or layer them all at the same time to build a towering sonic deluge.

The KMA Moai Maea: Custom Sound

Everything is accurately set via its own dedicated control pot, so you get an Octave +1 pot, Octave I and an Octave II pot as well as a Clean pot for setting the level of your dry sound. While the layout is simple, this pedal essentially hands you the tools needed to shape a myriad of possible effects, all backed up by 100% analogue warmth. In fact, the Moai Maea can be hooked up to an effects loop to create an even bigger wall of sound while the true-bypass switching ensures clean operation, even when the effect is switched off.
